Angove Family Winemakers is a family-owned and -operated company, founded in 1886. The winery was established by Dr William Thomas Angove, who started producing wines for his patients as a tonic in Tea Tree Gully, Adelaide. The company is presently managed by Angove siblings, Richard and Victoria, who together took the role of Managing Directors in 2017. TASTING NOTES Angove Family Crest Shiraz features a deep red colour lined by purple hues. A swirl of the glass reveals scintillating aromas of red cherry, spice, pepper and black chocolate. These fragrances are followed by a mouth-filling palate revealing raspberry, red cherry, dark chocolate and liquorice flavours. Complemented by fine oak notes and smooth tannins, these characters pave the way for a lingering finish. This tempting red perfectly matches foods like slow-cooked lamb shanks and beef bourguignon.
