TASTING NOTES: Brooding dark purple reds. Ripe blackcurrant and cassis, then cedar and dried tobacco leaf, blackberry and briar. A classic cabernet nose.A blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Merlot sourced from the Oakridge vineyard in Coldstream. The palate is rich and mouth filling with soft tannins that are even across the length of the palate. It is both fruit sweet and savoury at the same time, which brings refreshment and length.
