Currently headed by the fifth generation family members, Angove Family Winemakers represents a journey of over 130 years in the industry. It was established by William Thomas Angove in the year 1886 in north-east Adelaide. In 2007, they began using organic practices in the vineyards with an aim to complete this conversion by 2020. Highly-rated by various critics, they’ve earned a reputation for a range of super premium wines. TASTING NOTES Produced using Chardonnay grapes, this sparkling wine showcases light straw colour in a glass with effervescent bead. Its bouquet emanates lifted aromas of citrus and nashi pear. These are followed by a clean and crisp palate revealing matching flavours complemented by subtle nutty nuances. It eventually culminates in a soul-satisfying finish. You may enjoy it now with freshly-shucked oysters or cured salmon.
