Baby Doll Chardonnay 2023 Marlborough – 12 Bottles

The vintage was another great one for Chardonnay in Hawke’s Bay. The temperate spring yielded a moderate crop which ripened beautifully over the warm dry summer. The Chardonnay was sourced from a range of vineyards in the Korokipo, Crownthorpe, Bridge Pa, Clive, and Mangatahi sub-regions of Hawke&rsquo’s Bay. These vineyards are characterised by moderate temperatures and free draining soils, perfect for producing high-quality fruit. TASTING NOTES This Chardonnay exhibits pineapple, citrus and stone fruit flavours combined seamlessly with subtle toasty oak. The palate is ripe and textural and fresh with sweet fruit, less complexity and subtle oak with an elegant finish.Food match with beautifully matched with roast chicken, fish and chips and oysters.
