WINERY INFORMATION Established in 1928, De Bortoli Wines is a family owned and managed wine company located on De Bortoli Road in Bilbul, NSW. The company is renowned for producing an award-winning portfolio of premium, cool climate wines. The winemaking team crafts these exquisite wines under the supervision of skilled winemaker Jessica Irving. TASTING NOTES The grapes used to craft this delightful Chardonnay were harvested in the cool of the night, followed by warm fermentation and treatment on lees. This process led to the creation of a pale straw coloured wine. The complex bouquet exudes lifted scents of pineapple, coupled with biscuit oak notes. The fresh and soft palate contains citrus, stone fruit and white nectarine flavours, to end the wine in a clean and enticing finish. Made for consumption upon release, this full flavoured DB Winemaker Selection Chardonnay has the potential to be cellared for 5 years. Suggested food pairings include mushroom risotto, grilled chicken and aged Gouda cheese.
