Over the years, the brand’s vineyards have spread out over Coonawarra, Adelaide Hills and the Barossa. The aim of Jacob’s Creek is to make full flavoured and elegant wines that depict the true character of grapes, as well as the land from where they are harvested. TASTING NOTES: Jacob’s Creek Cool Harvest Pinot Grigio is best described as fresh and vibrant. The fruit was picked in the cool of the night, and has resulted in a wine that is just the right balance of sweetness and acidity. In a glass, the wine displays a pale straw colour. The fruity bouquet reveals apple and fresh cut pear aromas, with hints of lemon citrus evident in the backdrop. The refreshing palate consists of juicy pear and citrus flavours supported a bright, natural acidity. Fleshy fruit sweetness can be felt on the finish. This light to medium bodied wine makes for an excellent after work drink. It can also be paired with grilled seafood or fresh salads.
