WINERY INFORMATION Jacob’s Creek needs no introduction when it comes to popular Australian wines. Based in Barossa Valley, Jacob’s Creek has a long winemaking history which dates back to 1847. The winery was initiated by Johann Gramp after planting his first vineyard 167 years ago. Ben Bryant is the current Chief Winemaker at Jacob’s Creek and the man responsible for the style and quality of every bottle of wine that is shipped out of Jacob’s Creek winery. TASTING NOTES Showing a crimson colour with hues of purple, Jacob’s Creek Shiraz is a delightful, medium-bodied red wine. Spiced black fruits, chocolate and hints of cedar oak make up the nose of this wine. The palate boasts of rich blackberry, red berry and plum flavours, with hints of chocolate and mint. The wine enjoys silky smooth tannins and a long finish. Enjoy with grilled or roasted chicken, red meats, and tomato sauce based dishes.
