WINERY INFORMATION The Red Claw Label represents bright, juicy, and youthful wines produced by Yabby Lake. The Yabby Lake vineyard benefits from its maritime climate, which is a result of having three sides of the Mornington Peninsula facing the sea. The vineyard is nestled on a north-facing slope that allows it to enjoy maximum sunshine and cool sea breezes at night. The terrier offers perfect conditions for premium quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. TASTING NOTES With an alcohol content of 13%, this Chardonnay has a vibrant pale straw colour. When swirled in a glass, it exudes citrus and stone fruit aromas with a slight hint of spicy French oak that was integrated during fermentation. The palate is a reflection of modern Chardonnay with minimal oak flavours and improved acid structure. This wine is best enjoyed young and pairs well with chicken and savoury fish dishes.
