Redbank La Piazza King Valley Pinot Gris 2024 – 6 Bottles

TASTING NOTE: Very pale straw with gold tints. Fragrant aromas of rosewater, exotic spice and sandalwood. This wine is elegantly structured with an underlying core of chalky minerality. Flavours of fresh pears and Turkish delight lead to a fne, creamy, mid palate and a softly textured, talcy finish. With time in bottle, the classic Pinot Gris favours and texture will continue to grow WINEMAKING: The Whitfield Farm vineyard, which has been supplying fruit since this wine’s inception, provides the fullness of favour, structure and a distinct minerality characteristic of this vineyard. Higher up the valley is the Stella Matutina vineyard, one of mainland Australia’s highest vineyards (860m above sea level) which contributes classic Pinot Gris aromas and favours of rose petal, blossoms and fragrant spices, combined with a fresh, restrained acidity.
