WINERY INFORMATION Rutherglen Estates was founded in 1996. Producing wines of intense varietal flavour, complexity and regional character is at the forefront of their winemaking philosophy. The vineyards are managed by Viticulturist MatthewPartridge and wines are crafted by Winemaker Marc Scalzo. At the winery, both traditional and modern techniques are employed to produce their premium range of wines. TASTING NOTES This elegant wine flaunts a medium garnet colour. A whiff reveals intense strawberry and cherry varietal fragrances. These characteristics are mirrored on a juicy palate, further complemented by dark earthy notes and fine tannins. It eventually culminates into a soul-satisfying finish.This wonderful drink is a great match for classic Italian cuisines like minestrone soup, pizza or pasta.
